I needed a manual retractable awning for my chip truck. I went with a Toff SolarShield. The testimonials and reviews were average, but the price and criss-cross lateral arms for my small width and large projection needed were the deciding factors. The price was affordable, and I know inexpensive could mean cheap, but time will tell. The criss-cross arms meant I could cover a bigger area when fully extended. I also hope the spring-loaded design at the shoulder joints works as their literature says. Gusts come along roadways quite frequently, and my last awning made in China didn’t survive very long. The acrylic fabric is also supposed to be more water resistant than others. I’m hoping I made a better purchase than my last one. Unfortunately, the service from the local Toff dealer was poor thus the reason for the low assistance/service rating.
