I bought the China made Sunjoy classic 14 ft. x 10.5 ft. retractable patio awning because it was on sale and motorized. I did read some of the reviews and testimonials, but, in general, it was more about the sale itself as cost was our #1 priority as we are not rich people. The install took a bit of time even though we did read the instructions several times and watched some videos. The awning has a partial hood that it retracts into and is supposed to keep the fabric from fading or getting wet but it does not. It extends and retracts as expected from the wall and has a manual crank – I’ll need to do more testings to come up with a more detailed review, but for now I wanted to let everyone know that the frame is already rusting after only 2 months!!
