Our existing PVC pergola needed a cover for sun/rain so we bought the Shadetree motorized Impact model that is a roman fold canvas canopy. Shadetree claims that the fabric is impermeable. Don’t be fooled, it is not. Not only do we have a mist of rainwater coming through the fabric, but we also have water coming in and dripping around the edges of the inside of our PVC pergola. They stated it is because our pergola is out of square. It it was, they should have shimmed the pergola to make it perfectly square prior to the installation. They did not. I am taking the local Shadetree dealer and Shadetree to court and have filed a complaint at the Better Business Bureau and our local government consumer protection department. The Shadetree authorized dealer and installer were terrible. Stay away from Shadetree.
