My wife and I moved into our new home about a month ago. We decided we had to have an awning or the patio would be useless for relaxing or entertaining. I’d heard some being advertised on television, so did some internet surfing, read some testimonials and reviews, some were good some were bad. I settled on an Alpha Awning Continental retractable patio awning, and my fingers are crossed that it was the right decision but from what I see almost every company seems to have a lemon. My wife wanted the motorized model so she wouldn’t bang her knuckles cranking it open, hope the motor doesn’t fail! Installed it myself and it was easy but the frame sure looks flimsy and does flutter some in even a slight breeze. I’m hoping I made the right decision.
