Although the Shadetree Svet retractable awning was expensive you know it had to be great quality and design because it is Italian! The contemporary design is perfect for my home in the suburbs of Chicago that is contemporary, modern urban architecture. I purchased a wall mounted 23′ x 13’8″ (the largest they offer) and had it wall mounted. The Svet model features an innovative Dynamic Arm Torsion (DAT) System, which helps to protect the traction mechanism and to prevent fabric rips. The fabric chosen was also from Italy – Para Tempotest. We just looooooove our canopy awning.
