I purchased three fabric window awnings from Taylor Made Awnings for the upper windows of my house. I was able to get the sizes I wanted (even though they only offer standard sizes), and the color choices were adequate. The instructions could be much improved. The metal hardware and steel rods seem durable. I hope nothing rusts. For the cost, I’m hoping they’re galvanized so if they do corrode, the corrosion takes longer to occur. Installation took longer and required two people on tall ladders. There are wrinkles in the fabric, which are supposed to come out over time, I’m still waiting and it’s been 9 months so I think I am stuck with the wrinkles. The head rod clamps are exposed to the weather; I’m hoping they don’t continue to fail or release in the strong winds we sometimes get.
