The ShadeFX company was launched in 2007 by Peter Westgarth and Steve Ostrowski. Utilizing a single track system to retract awnings and canopies, they created the ShadeFX line of shading solutions.
They offer custom designed pergolas, awnings, and shades wherein part of their pre-sales process is the collaboration with a customer’s designer or architect. An onsite assessment can be done by the ShadeFX team to get all the details and size requirements. Afterward, a project proposal is given based on the customer’s budget.
Assembly is done at their factory with the finished product shipped as ready to install. They use custom cut aluminum frames, fabrics from Sunbrella and motors from Somfy. Site preparation can be done by ShadeFX as part of their service to ensure site readiness for installation.
