We have a large wood-framed house on Long Island and our Monza motorized retractable pergola I must say is without a doubt the best investment we have made. The frame is not aluminum (like most) and is real wood which provides a classical pergola appearance. We chose waterproof Ferrari 502 fabric in a neutral color so that it seamlessly appears like it is part of the home. The pergola protects my family and our outdoor furniture from sun fading ultraviolet rays and heavy rain/hail and allows us to use our bbq and outdoor living kitchen 24/7/365 with the exception of snow of course. The service and attention to detail provided by Eric at Retractable Awnings was amazing. He really spent a lot of time asking questions to be able to provide the best recommendations and also sent us a wonderful 3D rendering showing what the electric pergola looks like on our own home.
