My wife and I moved into our home a couple of months ago. It’s got a nice deck that takes up half the yard, but there’s no shade whatsoever. We looked at planting trees, but the price of fully grown trees or having to wait 20 years or so for them to grow wasn’t appealing. We picked up a Diensweek 12’x10 retractable patio awning made in Asia instead. We went with the manual retractable model. We did read some of the lousy consumer reviews and testimonials but the price was our main concern as we are on social security fixed incomes. Our handyman had to do a bit of assembly and the install went not really as expected based on reviews we read. Maybe I will have to add something more to my review later on.
